John and I wanted to make a chase scene with a silly premise, and this was the silliest one we could think of. We made this in college (2002?) -- it's UCSB's beautiful scenery that's whooshing by, in case you're wondering. It's worth mentioning John's incredible camera skills -- for the sliding camera shots, our camera dolly consisted of John standing on his skateboard, with Arthur towing him sideways by a sweatshirt tied around John's waist.
